Getting back to drawing the sort of thing that makes me happy. As much as I enjoy traditionally cute stuff the truth is that I really just always want to draw slime and gore, I want everything monochromatic and pixelated. I don't know, it's just what I love. So I'm going to get back into that again, it makes me feel better. And I kind of need pick me ups right now, I need to feel vaguely competent. So there you go.

I swear I am. Long story short: Moved to the other side of the country to take care of grandparents dying of cancer, still haven't found a job anywhere near my credentials (or worse than even), considering taking the cross country jaunt AGAIN just to take a certification course for free via the assistance of a family friend, seriously considering moving to Canada for various reasons after grandparents have passed on. I haven't been doing much art due to the above, living with people literally dying of degenerative diseases eating away at their bodies days by day is really really... pretty much a bit of a downer and it's hard to get out of

And then I did it again for roughly 2 months. At least I have a certification to show for it now, hopefully it will actually help me find a real job. Also, I'm in Florida now so there's that. I've been doing art here and there but I haven't liked any of it so I don't feel particularly like posting it up. I've been very art-meh recently and just completely disgusted with my work. Even writing makes me feel embarrassed. So I've just been messing around on Steam and working on other people's projects. Just how it goes sometimes.
